In 2014, Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation and Hitachi High-Tech Instruments Co., Ltd. have sold its electronic component placement business to Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. OEM’s sales subsidiary of Hitachi High-Tech has shut down by the end of March 2015.
